I finally purchased these security blankets for her to sleep with because I wasn't comfortable with the idea of her sleeping with such a large blanket such as the swaddling blanket. I love that the material is breathable and so soft. I think it is a perfect size. My daughter constantly has one in her little hands. The only downfall for me is that she sucks on it to put herself to sleep (refuses pacifiers). She often ends up with it all wadded up over her mouth and nose. I'm not sure how breathable it is once it's in such a wad and the SIDS foundation would probably frown on her having it like this.
