(More customer reviews)Thought I might mention that this is probably the best security light in solar available a bit pricey but well worth it. I've had mine three years with excellent results so far. The panel needs to be up on the roof preferably directly at high noontime sun and there is plenty of wire to do this, I used small cable tacks to secure to roof. In the Northwest you may get less light and for shorter periods of time but when it is faced directly toward sun, especially during summer with high noontime sun, it will work for over 15 days on one charge. I have three of them for a rental house and now will purchase three more for my new house. The best light to use for intruders especially if you can mount under an eave and shine directly into an unsuspected passerby's face, they will leave mmediately. The motion sensor works up to 75' that was the measure to my driveway from corner of house and it would come on when someone approached my house. Be sure to charge as per the directions the first time to get the full benefit from the battery.
